Re: What do you want to see in your dive shop?

I'm a little easier to please. How about just being open during posted business hours? Stopped in a few weeks back ( can't remember exact date) Approx 3pm on a weekday afternoon. Doors were locked and lights were out.

Re: Liquivision X1

My X1 just went DOA on a dive. No warning. I just happened to be looking at the screen when it faded to a dark screen at about 100 min of RT. Got home, rinsed and charged. Now it won't respond at all. Waiting to hear from Liquivision. I really like this computer and would like to add the X-link to m...

Re: Admiral Sampson

Our goal is also to survey and document as well but..........we have agreed to a somewhat relaxed pace that will allow a balance between the amout of ground covered and the amount of detail recorded. As a result it will take us a couple of dives to document the same area and hopefully see some of th...

Re: Admiral Sampson

These guys did it on OC a fair bit too... I think they get 20 min on the wreck, which isn't to bad a bottom time at 300' with currents that switch around. I have a copy somewhere of a video that Walter shot where they scooter around the whole wreck. http://www.scret.org/index.php?option=com_content...

Re: Admiral Sampson

I'd be intersted in knowing what it looked like back in the day. Our team has only been actively diving it for the last 5-6 yrs. The last couple of years it has seen some serious decay.

Its one of my favorites as well . The list of people that have dove the Sampson is pretty small. When did you dive it last? We should compare notes sometime.

Cherry picker Guilty as charged. I still think you should know how many cherries you're gonna pick, and how deep into the orchard you plan on going before you start, though. Not like I'm an elitist snob about it or anything. :stick: I don't mind cherry pickers. Its the bell ringers I stay away from.

Boy, THAT'S the truth! He doesn't respond to beatings at all. We're considering Pepper spray, or maybe a cattle prod. Maybe a Taser?
Sounds like some extensive testing needs to be done.
