Yup, watch Craigslist but don't forget the pawn shops either. Plenty of them around that area and I've found that the police don't do a very good job of informing the pawn shops to watch for stolen stuff. Good luck and don't give up. The odds of the thief being a diver that will use it are astronomi...

You never can give people too much credit for how stupid they can be. How do people like this really exist?
Pure luck and a Higher Power with a sense of humor?

It's pretty obvious that you're just crazy... About diving, that is! \:D/ Since you're very involved in the business side of diving it's no surprise to me that you drop that much coin. I spend a similar amount but have less equipment and buy less new gear. I'd have no reason to attend DEMA either. S...

Will be looking forward to reading your adventures related through your NWDC posts. :book:

It's a wonderful country that I've visited in harder times. I never made it out of the jungle for very long.

Some family lines should not be propagated. This is just more proof. Happily the good guy will recover and the bad guy will have to face a judge.

I hope to catch the next one. I left work at 5:50 and thought I had a direct route up the hill but was further north than I thought, 188th. By the time I got through the traffic on 99 it was twenty past and snowing/raining. I waved as I turned around and headed for I-5.

Next time!

I like this entire concept. Just the other day I picked up what I thought was a broken moon snail shell as it was so thick. I thought I'd check it out topside and ditched it in a pocket. I remembered it when cleaning my gear and pulled it out. There seemed to be a little smudge on it that I couldn't...

Edmonds is a great choice for newer divers. Ryan hit the details pretty well on his post up there in the thread.

Point is this; be a prepared, informed diver and EUP will treat you very well.

I watched it without the sound but I won't watch it again. I don't need to because as long as I live I won't forget what I saw. As far as the perception of whether or not this is comparable in some views to the production of beef, pork and chicken there is the simple fact that those animals are bred...

You know that horrors like this exist but it's something else to actually witness it. The suffering is relentless and apparently the beauty and grace of these animals is lost on the killers. This really pisses me off. Here's the bottom line on this insanity: the bottom line dictates and justifies th...

Hi and welcome to NWDC! glad you decided to join us. Living in Shoreline gives you some wonderful, local to you, dive options. Denial is pretty popular as are all the choices listed including stupidity or, nicer, ignorance. Like the guy in the story that was going to dive 'n drink 'n fly 'n DIE , I know a few casual divers who have no idea what the warning signs of DCS are. I was listening to a diver on the beach who had ju...
