Thank You!

A buddy of mine showed up at Redondo today with a hole in his HP hose. I walked around the lot asking if anyone happened to have an extra, to no avail. After about 10 minutes David from Underwatersports in Federal Way walked up and handed us a hose. Thank you David, you saved our day! image.jpg imag...

Re: Viz Reports Thread

Has anyone dove Redondo recently? I am curious if the viz is any better than last weekend.

Another Trip of a Lifetime!

My buddy and I just returned from a 10 day trip on the Nautilus Explorer. We were diving the Socorro Islands with an unexpected detour into the Sea of Cortez. The trip was amazing! We boarded the Nautilus Explorer in Cabo San Lucas. We then had a 24 hour crossing to our first stop. We had a calm oce...

Re: Redondo today

I dove Redondo yesterday. After our second dive we surfaced to similar conditions. During our first dive and prior to our second, it was calm and not windy or rainy. At the end of our second dive, the water was above the first few steps with waves slapping higher on the stairs. I got my butt kicked!...

Re: How to plan Flagpole ...

Hey Bob I got your message late last night, sorry I didn't get back sooner. There is a decent exchange on Saturday, the water will be flooding from the north. Swimming from the shore I prefer to dive this site on a flood. You can swim almost directly east and let the current push you to the buoy. I ...

Summer Fun!

I spent the day at Redondo yesterday and had a blast. The little red octos are everywhere and they are always a source of entertainment. The viz was really good all the way down and through the bottle field. As we crossed the bottle field I saw 4 or 5 ratfish, I was hoping for a sixgill. I am starti...

Back in the Water

After being relatively dry for the last few months I had a great day today. I met up with Gratefuldiver Bob for couple of dives at Redondo. The water temp was great, the viz was about 15 feet at depth, and there were critters everywhere. Thank you Bob and Cheng for really nice day! image.jpg image.j...

For me the only thing that could make this better is if he would have cut the fins off and chucked it over. The oceans are less healthy because too many sharks are being harvested.

Re: Oregon Field Guide: Diving the Oregon Coast

Great video! I wish there were more charters off the the Oregon Coast. I bet if you paid ORdiver, he'd take you out. ;) Anytime Dave, money well spent! We should find some dates where the tides are good and plan a trip. We'd need a fourth diver or a dedicated boat driver. I am in! If you don't have...
