Awesome report Jeremy. Lime kiln and Doe bay are two of my all time favs. Deadmans bay can be tricky good job on setting it up!

Re: Sea star die-off
something that I've seen several people say, and upon reflection it does seem to be what I've noticed though it really just 'dawned' on me as I read someone else's report a few minutes ago... that stars in deeper water don't seem to be affected. I've not found any wasted Stars below about 100' or so...

Re: Fs - pony bottle setup, new
putting aside the issue of bottle size (I'd have to agree it's quite small in a real emergency at depth)..... this is still an AWESOME deal IMHO as that titan reg is worth the price alone. buy it, sell the bottle for whatever and get a bigger one. I'm in josh's camp when it comes to how to mount it....

Re: Sund Rock: 6-13-14: Cloud Sponges!
We've been watching this group of sponges for more than a decade. They've been nearly obliterated by touching and/or accidental kicking and of course the normal natural hazards sponges face. Sigh... I remember watching an instructor unaware of where their fins were as they turned around take a good...

I don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer. The best that can be done is to tell you anecdotal stories and give opinions. We all know or know of, folks that have done the trip/ or we've done similar trips ourselves *I have without incident, dove and gone over several passes on many differ...

I dance a jig every morning Spat! :) One of our storage bottles. It was an aluminium tank with steal windings. After testing it's believed there were fractures in some fatigued metal that had been occurring for about 10 years. It was really fortunate that I'd run the banks down to just under half pr...

Re: Deco Reg Maintanence
typically speaking a bad part won't make it through a thorough post rebuild performance check. Very much the same as if a part is installed wrong, it won't test out properly. Especially if one has the proper testing equipment, though you don't really need to have a flow bench and all the super duper...
