And last but not least a great pair of swim trunks that are reserved for the totally warm weather -water diving that work just great,,,in fact I used them last weekend without a hitch!!! :rr: Quit bragging! :angryfire: Haha, I'm just jealous. But, I like to use a thin fullsuit even in the warmest w...

Janne, yeah.. my buddy was pointing out that the positioning of the exhaust valve on the CNX was a bit strange. Is this what you're talking about or the mechanics of the valve itself? It's an otherwise great looking suit, I have buddy thinking about buying it. Any advice for him would be greatly app...

I can't go back to diving wet, at least in cold waters. I prefer a wet suit though if temps will allow, they're just so much easier to deal with (and cheaper). I've got a 3mm shorty, a 3mm full, 5/4mm full, 7mm dry and now a 3mm crushed neoprene dry. Crap, I've got a lot of suits come to think of it!

Hmmm... Sparky, you should do whatever makes sense as far as tides and good diving are concerned. I'll try to join but I don't want you to plan anything around me since I don't know how long these students will take. Unfortunately my deal with the classes won't allow me to get out to Hood Canal to m...

Man, I've read about this. The most amazing thing is that those steps are cut at perfect 90 degree angles. No geologic process is known that could've made them by natural means. Hey Ken, if you like history you should check this writer at Newsvine out. They need more folks with a history background ...

If anyone is thinking of joining kgdiver, you should check out my article on diving Playa Del Coco, and also my photos from there. It was some great diving. Seemed like a cross between diving here and the Caribbean.

Are you sure about the non-muckiness? Hoodsport is a popular hangout on sunny weekends. Not a bad idea though, but since I'll be diving with kgdiver in possibly his first drysuit dive I wanted to go somewhere with a fairly medium-sized depth and a bottom. Cove 2 is okay for that I guess. We can do t...

Redondo is very packed on weekends, sometimes even more so than Seacrest (because there's just one dive site). It's a great entry though and not current intensive. Good staging area too. I know that there is another Bandito Charter going out on Saturday morning. Maybe we should look into that? It al...

New Forum Layout

I've added some sub-forums since we've grown to the point of needing a little organization. I've started out with a few basics, we can always add more as we go. I didn't want to fragment the discussion too much in the beginning, but I'm thinking that eventually we'll have more forums for Photography...

Dive Plan: Sunday 4/30/06

Hi Folks, I'll be diving on Sunday with my buddy Ken (kgdiver). Since this will be his first cold water dive, and the tides don't look very good , we'll be going somewhere that isn't too current intensive. Probably Cove 2 or Edmonds, even though both of those sites will be chock full of divers due t...

The tides look great that day. However, I have an Open Water class to work with that morning (I'm currently doing Divemaster training). Since I really do want to dive with you I'm more than happy to do 2 sets of dives that day if the timing works out (the OW class dives are early in the morning). Da...

I'm glad everyone wants a shirt! :supz: You guys can hold off on the paypal in the meantime, in case I end up shipping em to ya or delivering 'em in person.

We need Super Dave back here, or else we'll never get in the water again. Now I appreciate how much Dave does for us, making times/places to meet (albeit a tad early for my tastes), printing out directions and most importantly deciding on where we're going to dive . We were like a group of buffoons ...
