I have not started diving doubles but the idea of redundancy is appealing.

Hammerhead backplates and sta's
Hello fellow NWDive club friends! I am in the market for a new BP and STA. I have been researching all of the options and have found Hammerhead. All the reviews I have read say good things about the product and the people behind it. They use marine grade steel (316) and alum (5052 H32). Best part is...

As a child I was always interested in my parents diving off Catalina in California. Diving was something I always wanted to try and I got the opportunity on the Great Barrier in 94. To this day it is still some of the best diving I have ever done. My first dive was with a dozen Sharks, huge Eels, Gi...

Tobin, Welcome to the NWDiveClub. You have manufactured some really nice gear. It seems that Deep Sea Supply has some very innovative ideas. I’m just about to order your SK7 and Vyper elastomeric mount. I think the bungee should eliminate my issue with suit compression at depth. Makes for gearing up...

DIY Drysuit Dryer Instructions
The link below is to instructions for a Do It Yourself Drysuit dryer. The instructions seem fairly straight forward and parts are cheap.
Check it out.

Salvo
Has anyone heard if Salvo is planning on staying in business through this ordeal?
I think I would be hesitant to purchase a piece of their gear without knowing the company will be around for the long haul.

New Torus wings released by Deep Sea Supply
Deep Sea Supply has just released there new Torus wings. I think the doubles wing has been out a little while but the singles just started to ship a few days ago. They look pretty good. It’s a 360 degree heavy duty bladder that is almost twice as thick as most, making it possible to eliminate the zi...

Very interesting. I have always wanted to go to Caesarea. Some amazing history there. Not only ancient Greeks and Romans but also the crusaders. Thanks for the link!

Craigslist
I agree with Calvin. Craigslist can be a great place to shop for gear. Yesterday I picked up a pair of fins, Lower half of a 7mm farmer John, and 20lbs of weights for $25. I often see full sets of gear for $800 or so.

WWII Bomber at 200 feet in Lake Washington
Here is a link to a newsletter put out by the Submerged Cultural Resources Exploration Team. It is regarding a Grumman TBF-1 Avenger that went down in Lake Washigton in 1942 . There are photos and sonar images included. http://www.scret.org/newsletters/2005-Issue-1.pdf It is a very interesting site ...
