Re: Were to buy a MK 15.5 in the USA
thanks for the info. I dive every weekend. Not deep all the time, but when I can get away and go deep it seems to be the only time that I'm truly loving it, and feel like I'm on vacation. Of course, I'm in Oregon, I have discovered a lot of great places to deep dive. To bad I don't have any body to ...

Re: Were to buy a MK 15.5 in the USA
I'm a tech diver, but I would love to join the dark side. The darker the better. I have read a lot of aticles over the years about divers like Richard Harris who does cave dives down to 600' and other divers who do deep wrecks all over the world, And even on National Geographic, you see people divin...

Re: Were to buy a MK 15.5 in the USA
They are used so much for really deep diving, that I'm surprised that they are not manufactured today and sold all over the world. I have been to the sights you mantioned. There is a lot of talk about them just not the kind of info I was looking for. What else is out there that is equivalent? I know...

Were to buy a MK 15.5 in the USA
Just curious if any one knows were you would get more info on the MK 15.5 CCR, who sells them, and maybe some websights to go to. I have been Googling a lot and I'm not getting much info. Help if you can.

due to liability, fire stations will not fill scuba tanks any more. But you can try if you want. A lot of politics if you catch my drift. Fire stations don't mind doing it, it's the superiors up above that make the call.

Re: Anyone Have a Full Face Mask?
My two cents, I have the space neptune by ocean reef. I love it. I use it a lot. fogging is not an issue the way it runs. I have the quick disconnect hose. Very usefull when you have multiple stage bottles or spare air. I have a hose on each bottle so if I have to change bottles, I just disconnect o...

here is the inside scoop, and you didn't heer it from me. This is for real. DUI is currently working on a battery ran insulation suit. It will plug into a canister pack. And it is a insulation jump suit that has the heater built into it. Something like that. If you are patient, you may want that. It...

Re: Cutting tables
Just my two cents. I use V-planner. and I use conservation at +2. If I plan my dive at 200 feet for 20 min. Instead of changing any of the times, I write the 200 feet for 20 min on my slate, and as a back up , I write both 210 feet for 20 min. and 200 feet for 25 minutes. So if I deviate from the pl...

Re: Aquarium divers on OPB
For those who are interested, you can do a 3 week cycle. Where you do one day every 3 weeks, or you can be on a 6 week cycle. Where you can do SAt and Sunday every six weeks. You don't have to be there every weekend. And if you can't make it, you find one of your fellow divers to fill in for you and...

Dog Days at the Newport Aquarium this weekend!
Dog Days is going on this weekend at the Newport aquarium. For a fee, you can try out a DUI dry suit and get fitted from head to toe and dive in the aquarium it self. They provide all the gear. You just need mask, fins and proof of certification. It's fun for those of you that have never done it. de...

need advice on a good reel for tech diving.
Well Reef Scuba has discontinued their S.E.A.L rells. That really bites. So now what? I'm thinking about the manta Sr. or maybe the Jr. I'm also thinking about the innovative scuba dive reel if it has a drag system. It just sucks that Reef Scuba discontinued their S.E.A.L. reels. But I'm open for su...

I'm sorry if that offended you. Really I'm sorry. I didn't think that there was anything wrong with those pics. I thought they were cute. And enjoy your trip to Florida. Going to do some wreck diving. I envi you. I would love to dive there two but it is not on my budget.
