High Diving at Mowich Lake

It was a beautiful day on Mt Rainier today! My dive buddy Rod and I drove up to dive in Mowich Lake, on the north side of the mountain. We checked out the lake and relaxed for about an hour before suiting up so we could get used to the altitude. Mowich Lake is at 4929 feet. We geared up and went int...

High Diving

I am planning on doing some lake diving up in the Cascades. Has anyone done any altitude diving??? I am looking for some info about diving above 3000 feet. I know I can set my computer but I want some info to make sure I don't get bent. The best part of these dives is my gear is going to be so clean...

It is not for a new diver and even those who have been diving for a while hesititate to dive it (like me). I remember the Misty. I miss that dive boat. She ...

Diving this Weekend

Teal Water is closed this weekend due to some anchor repairs but Michael said he would let me know if he got finished sooner. If ...

I was talking to Rick Meyers at Banditos and it seems that divers have been discovered by theives. It is VERY common for divers' cars to get hit at Johnny's in Tacoma. Theives see dive stickers and they know the owners are out on a charter. I was hit last summer, and luckily, they ended up getting n...

Banditos...Sunday morning (6-25)

Hi,

It is going to be a rough weekend for diving from shore so...

I have 4 spaces left for a 3 tank charter with Banditos. We leave Johnny's at 8am. Cost is $80, payable to Banditos. If you are interested, let me know ASAP so I can hold your space.

Thanks!
