No worries LG. Good luck on the test.
So for Burntchef of anyone else who'd like to join in, I can be down to Mukilteo anytime after about 4:30. If we do it much later lights will be a necessity. (proabably a good idea no matter what...)
I'm on an al80 of ean36 if it matters....

Last minute dive
Anybody up for a last minute dive tonight in the north end? Either EUP or Mukilteo?

Mukilteo Park
So does anyone out there know what the current corrections are for the Mukilteo Lighthouse park? Did a dive with kwbyron there monday, and I thought we should hit it at slack, right around 5:00pm, but it most definately was not, so I'd like to know what the current correction is for future planning....

I saw it! I'm in for $50, anyone else? We're going to have to increase the membership.

Though with a max depth of only 300fsw I think it'd be cheaper to just chip in for advanced trimix classes for everyone.

Sounds like I need to start night diving more. This summer when fishing off the south end of Whidby Island, dogfish were so thick that we could see them swimming 4-5' below the surface under the boat. Pretty much gave up fishing and just watched them swim around. Didn't have any gear or I'd have jum...

Sharks
So where in puget sound is the best place to go dive with sharks? I've lived in the puget sound area all my life, and it seems like whenever we went bottom fishing as a kid, someone would inevitably hook into a dogfish shark and we'd immediatly move, since as soon as one was hooked, at that site all...

T-dock sign
Question for those of you who have dove the T-Dock more than I have. Last time I was there, I encountered what appears to be a speed limit, or other road sign standing in about 30 fsw. There is a rope that runs roughly south from there, toward the Ferry dock. So my question is, what's at the other e...

Pony
So, just out of curiosity, why do so many people want to go with a pony, vs. just small manifolded doubles? Maybe a set of steel 72's? It seems like if there is a real concern that you need more gas for a given dive, or need more redundancy, why not just go all the way to manifolded, or even seperat...

Crabs!
The first time you get nailed by a picher without gloves, all that empathy will go out the window. It did for me anyway. My revenge has been many crab dinners!
If you still can't bear the thought of boiling your own, and want some good crabcakes, I recommend chinooks. Good stuff.

Tuesday
Most unfotunately I will be helping a friend put the finishing touches on his new kitchen so that he can start using it. I think if I bailed his wife would kill me. She's been without a kitchen for 3 months. I am free later this week, and even have a full tank.

Permits
JDR,
How easy is it to obtain a night diving permit? Is it something you just walk in and get, or is it something that takes time (as with most gov't "permit")? Do they charge for it? I think night diving the park would be fun.
