I'd use MSN messenger. If you have a mac you can get a program called Adium, it combines all messenger services into one interface.

The board is the best way to get a hold of me, plus I like that we can go back and look through conversations....something we wouldn't be able to do with IM.

Oh, I see. So you never got your gear bag? Some things are better bought in person, you should check out REI. To their credit, I run an internet business so I know where they're coming from to some degree, dealing with international issues. We have writers from all over the world wanting to write in...

I agree, getting the plan in order ahead of time will help with the turnouts. This coming weekend is Janne's last NW dive, so lets get a good one going for this Sat/Sun.

Janne and I did 2 dives out at Redondo. They were ok-ish, the weather was good and I found a little squid that we chased around and he tried to ink us several times. It was like a tiny little fountain pen in the massive ocean...very ineffective but endearing nonetheless. So, what do you think about ...

I wonder if they're doing 1 or 2 dives?

Ok, I think that Dave and those guys might be meeting at 7am to do Sunrise. Needless to say, there's no way in heck I'm waking up that early on the weekend.

I'm down to go diving either or both days at any reasonable hour, is this your last weekend here Janne?

Actually Janne, I took a video of that first octo. It came out horribly because that laser beam you carry around was waaaay too bright, and the video came out blue/whitewashed I'm surprised you didn't make calamari out of that poor thing!!!

I'm totally down for both days. I am a dive fiend!!!

I propose we do the same plan we were going to do last weekend, before the windstorm. 3 tanks, beautiful day at Hood Canal. Sund Rock and Octopus Hole. Any takers?!
