I'll send an email to my contact and ask. She said they wanted to keep it available to us.

Bonaire 2012 with NWDC peeps

Once again, Bonaire did not disappoint! I just spent my third week on the island with my hubby, DBrown, as well as 4 other NWDC peeps (Oregondiver, Funkydiver, JenBowes, Matt S) and 2 others. We reconnected with friends from previous trips, made new friends, dove favorite sites and new ones, and gen...

Some people are just the cutest 'lil things!  It took me a second--no wait, third--read to "get it" myself. But then again, I've also been there -- those days when you can't dive yourself but really want to hang out with other divers to shoot the sh!t. I believe John Rawlings...

Re: Really bad news for Seattle divers

So don't hate me . . . I had never heard of Marination before this thread, but when I checked out their menu online, I was intrigued. I stopped by the brick and mortar location in December for lunch and . . . I fell in love. So much so that I even served their kalua pork sliders at my island-themed ...

Have you read Scott Sigler's Infected?!? I'm actually a little relieved to hear the movie option ran out because that's a book I don't need to see in living color.

Good call, James. If it is the third from the last pic it is definitely not an eye....... Oh thank god! I feel slightly less paranoid now. It wasn't just you, trust me. I was having a serious WTF moment as well. Great shots everyone! Here are a few from me. Your first pic is a ribbon worm. Those th...

WTB Goodman Handle for GoPro before 2/10

So . . . I was trying to purchase a goodman handle for our GoPro and apparently I waited too long. The basic $30 one is on 3-4 week back-order on every website and we leave for Bonaire Feb. 10.

Anyone have a handle they are willing to sell me?

Re: UFO at the bottom of the Baltic?!?

We should have matching drysuits, like these guys! Or at least a NWDC drysuit logo/patch. And pictures of us wearing them with our "serious face" on. Apparently that's how you become a professional diver. (Was it just me or did anyone else start laughing when they flashed this guy's pictu...

Re: Looking for a digital point and shoot for underwater

The Canon G series is a great choice. I use the G10 as does Grateful diver and Jan K, Any of the G's above 10 are an excellent choice and with the Canon housing they do just great and have allot of room for growth! +1 for Canon G series. I'm one of 4 people I know with a Canon G12 and we all love t...

Re: Excellent Swimmer, Great Personality

I don't know; by the time we finished our trip to Indonesia, everybody had been banged in the mask or bitten enough that we no longer thought the clownfish were cute. In fact, the unanimous verdict was that Nemo deserved the dentist's office. Ok, that's one of the funniest things I've ever heard. :...

Re: Break in!

So sorry, Ron. Glad you're ok! When someone tried to break into our house, it was also in the middle of the day. Since I work from home, we installed an alarm system *AND* motion sensors to the front and back door areas. They aren't tied to the alarm, but they set-off a chime inside the house if any...
