What gauges? I may have a loaner if you need something. I'm game to hit muk up some evening next week if someone wants to go.

Re: NYE South Sound Dive

Do you have a separate thread with pics of your PTB adaptor? I have looked at the price and thought about fabricating my own as well. Its half the price of the upgrade. BTW, I have a Cuda 600. Thanks! No, I'll try and get them added to the DIY thread later this week. My first cut was to mount some ...

Re: NYE South Sound Dive

Yep, the bottom is covered in them. Up until the wasting syndrome hit, the more rocky areas used to be covered in different species of sea star. It's not really a 'site' so much as it is my front yard, a dive of convenience.

NYE South Sound Dive

Well, after letting my poor scooter sit in the corner of the garage for a disturbingly long time due to a dead battery, (and not diving as much) I finally bit the bullet, upgraded the electronics, built a PTB converter, and put 2 12ah Milwaukee 18volt packs in it. It took a while so sort out the wei...

12.5 ft zodiac - free to good home

I have a 1994 12.5 zodiac that needs a new home, and I thought I would offer it here before trying to deal with Craigslist. This boat has served my family well for the last few years, but as the kids have gotten big we got something with a little more space in the bow for them to fight over. I've do...

Re: Ongoing Buddies desired

Hi SCUBARM,

I live in the north end, I'm good for an afternoon/evening tide most weekdays if you give me a little warning. I wasn't diving much for a bit, but I'm re-energized and trying to put back together a solid buddy pool.

Maui shore dive, all the turtles!

We took a family trip to Maui last month to celebrate my dad's birthday. I managed to sneak away for 1 dive while I was there and did a shore dive in the morning at Mala pier. Since I hadn't planned ahead very well, I just introduced myself to a dive guide at one of the sites we were snorkelling and...

I can't make it tomorrow unfortunately, but yes, 6:00am splash tomorrow looks like a good time to dive EUP from a tide perspective.

Good luck, hopefully someone is able to make it out with you.

Doc! Let's shoot for Thursday at Muk. Sadly the Cuda is still without a functional battery, so I will be a scooter pedestrian. Maybe just go kick the T-dock in search of critters like the old days? 4:00?

Good point, you may be able to just get the DIN fitting and convert the reg too.

Re: US Supreme Court may hear case regarding beach access

p.s. I am interested in this only as an intellectual issue. People walk the beach, and even fish from the beach, in front of my house and I would never try to stop them, even if the courts say I can. I just think it is neat that whales scoop up sand that my deed says is mine. I'm the same way as fa...
