Re: Where to buy a nice pocket knife?
Another for Benchmade. Great products. A good place to get pocket knives is Army Navy on first avanue in Belltown (Downtown Seattle) Good selection. Not all Benchmade knives are the same though. I think there are 3 quality levels. Look for the blue box if its in your budget. http://www.benchmade.com...

I have used Ideco for awhile now. It is very easy to use and has some great features. Definitely worth checking out.

Ummmm Tacos...
I have been to every Taco truck I can find in our area. The one on 165th and Aurora is consistently the best. Try them if your up that way. The carnitas are my favorite

Re: bottles!!
Burntchef, Romer Treece and I went bottle hunting last night and came up with a few interesting things. Howard found a great medicine bottle that he will hopefully post a picture of. I was able to bring up a haul of small ceramics. Not all that old but pretty neat. I particularly like the one with t...

Re: bottles!!
For the most part I clean them. Dan told me about Muriatic acid and it works great. I soak and dont scrub. I have left a few alone though as I like them left in the state I found them.
Personal choice I guess.

Re: Diving Thailand
My advice, go to Thailand have a ball, then shoot off somewhere else in the region to dive. Thailand is like Sun Valley for skiing/snowboarding: decently good diving but surrounded by exceptional diving. If you're going to go halfway around the world to a place that's just a few hour flight to the ...

Re: Turtle sighting at Redondo
I seems it could be possible. Turtles are a protected species here. Also if Leatherbacks are common offshore possibly one or some other type came in to the Sound. "The Puget Sound is a rich and diverse ecosystem, comprised of thousands of different plants and animals. Unfortunately, pollution a...

Re: bottles!!
Dan (Romer Treece) and I did some monkey diving today and found some great bottles. Im going to start cleaning them up and give them a soak in muriatic acid. Dan found a bong too but I rammed him with my scoot and broke it. Sorry buddy!

Re: Diving Thailand
I'm definately going to be there in late January, my yearly trip. I'll be in Pattaya for the first week for my "mental health time", might try to get some dive training in. Hope fully I'll make it down to Phuket, probably more into Feb. We're going to try and visit Myanmar, but I don't ex...

Re: WTB: Apeks 1st stage
Maybe pry just the 1st stage from this person ? Anyone have any experience with these $60 1st stages from 123scuba? -Eric I use one of the $60 first stages for argon. It works great. Its pretty small and the angle of the hose routes nicely. Also I was able to pick up spares kits for $10 so I picked...

Re: Best Case or Luggage for Dive Gear
I like to use a duffel with back pack straps. North Face makes a good one in multiple sizes. Just wish it did not have the NF logo. I carry my regs, computer, ccr head, camera, and light with me in a tall skinny backpack that just meets carry on requirements. I wrap it all up in t shirts for padding...

Re: Pony Bottle....what is a good size 19, or 30?
I would go for the 40cf as well. You can hardly tell the difference when your in the water and you have 25% more gas in reserve. But a 30cf will work just fine too
