Very generous offer!
I think this would fit my son really well, we're currently sacrificing on his undergarments to get him into his current suit. I'm pretty good at fixing/replacing seals.
Bonus, in a year when he outgrows it, I can pass it to Norris!

Re: Need a new drysuit recomendations
I opted to go with the Bare TECHDRY and it's on the way now! Switching from crushed neo to trilam has left me at an insulation deficit. What's your favorite undergarment? I prefer a 2 piece. I checked out the Hollis Undergarments, and while I like the look and construction, their sizing seems to be ...

No reason to bin a good (and expensive at the time!) computer just because it's old Doc, I still dive mine, though admittedly it sat in my drawer for a few years while I was debating dropping $150 on a new screen when mine cracked a second time and was out of warranty. After they went out of busines...

Re: Will they remove the T dock?
That's unfortunate. On wonders how long before divers lose access there in favor of more "progress". I helped out with sea star collection for some of the NOAA researchers there once, and got a tour of the facility. That was a long time ago and the building was in pretty rough shape back t...

Re: Hollis Wing Seems to Fill with Water
Inflate it and submerse it in a tub, that should tell you pretty quickly where it's coming from. Did you check where the inflation elbow meets the wing? If that's loose could be leaking. There is a rubber gasket under the elbow, if that's missing or the nut is loose it could be flooding the wing. Co...

Re: Weight recommendations
Yelloweye has good advice. Regarding weights in pockets, I've seen people put XS scuba pockets on the waist band behind the D ring on the left and behind the can light on the right, but personally I don't like that, it always felt awkward. I have 2 pockets for trim weights on each cam band and that ...

Re: Drygoves source
I picked up some of the black and white ones from 8 diving just because it's closer than Seattle Marine. I'm going to try them out, but they don't seem as thick as the orange ones I had. Thanks for the tip on Garibaldi. If I ever travel again (thanks COVID) I'll make sure and take some orange gloves...

Re: So this washed up on my beach today...
Nice find nevertheless! Any sign of how it died? Did you get to swim with the live one you saw? No there were no marks on it as far as I could see, but I couldn't exactly flip it over... I did not get to swim with the live one, it was cold and I didn't have my drysuit handy. Interestingly it was wi...

So this washed up on my beach today...
This (sadly deceased) Mola Mola drifted up on the beach in front of my place near Shelton. We saw a live one a few years ago, but nowhere near this large!

What size are hollies XXL foot pockets? Around the same as Turtles? Put new boots on my drysuit and my Turtles are now just a little tight.

Any body have a line on the black latex pullover style drygloves? I think the last set I got was off of someone on the board who bought a case years ago. Re: Possession Point - Tech Dive?
I've done it twice, once from a boat and once from shore. When I did it as a shore dive, we went in at the Possession Beach Waterfront Park to the North, and scootered down to the fingers in the shallows. Lots of people dive it either by getting the ranger to let them drive down closer, or just gett...
