Stephen, Nick, and I made it out to Redondo yesterday. We did the south side of the site. Bottle field and back. 1 hour long. The usual. Saw a red octo, a stubby squid, and a lot of crabs. Saw a winged sea slug for the first time ever and what I think is a quillfish. Current started pushing a little...

Tiny, tiny red octos. And a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, t i n y Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker. The crabs were skittish and a lot were in the middle of dinner.

Moss Bay dive. From what I was told, you have to book your group ahead of time and pay a $25 fee. It's a easy shore access once you lug your gear down the hill. Great spot for a dive+BBQ. The site is a clay wall that slopes gradually 20-40 feet before dropping off in levels past 130'. Fingers jut ou...
