I did go out and get a Canon 7D, a new macro lens (the same 60mm) and a new Nauticam housing.
This is one of those times that I actually liked my setup - so I had no reason or desire to change or "upgrade."

I went back on Sunday to try to capture more photos of the octo hatchlings. Had fun using my diopter and got a pic or two that I was happy with. Then - I went further north and just hung out in the shallows (15 feet). I encountered a school of op. squids, mating. I had seen a number of egg clusters ...

Went on Saturday afternoon and managed to still see a couple hatchlings emerge from the Octo Den at TTN. This was a first for me - and what a thrill!

Went with Dale to Flagpole today. Viz was pretty cloudy down to at least 40 feet. We saw several wolf eels out in the open. Not sure if there is an oxygen deprivation thing happening - there are more wolf eels appearing at shallower levels. One adult wolf eel was resting in the open in about 30 feet...

Definitely enjoyed the awesome sunshine and calm winds/smooth waves on the hood today. Was fun to get pictures of the Albus Dendronotus laying eggs! Also had fun taking different shots with different F-stops of a larger clown nudi. I've included two poses - one, where the Clown is standing up.
