I would suggest getting closer to the subject and letting your internal strobe do it's job. Set your focus on Macro and get as close to the subject as you can and still get clear focus. On the whiteline, you should be focusing on the rhinophores. Try to shoot up at the subject if you possibly can.

Depends on which way you are coming from.

I think they are both probably about the same distance from the dive site. If coming from the south, UWS. If coming from the north, TLSea. If coming from the east, ScubaSports might be closer.

I have heard that some use PhotoShop in order to get those really nice solid color backgrounds. Some admit to it, others don't.
