I believe you can do a pretty good tech dive on air- that's how it was done, prior to 1990, or so. I'm not saying it's optimal- we have choices available that just weren't there for the civilian sport diver back in the day. I think NAUI has one as well. But yeah no one I know has one the reason I was asking is since its such a worthless c-card I just wanted it to count towards my 1 out of 5 for Master Diver. :partyman: Something to remember if you are after your MD cert, assuming your doing through the same instructor...

I wonder why instructors don't test their Rescue Diver students with a scenario like that--put a mannequin down and surprise the students to see that they react the right way (i.e, not panicking) 'cause sometimes, you know, you're not so much "rescuing" as "recovering". :pale: T...
