Re: interesting bottle reef at Sunnyside
yeah, must have been put there within the last month or two. Don't know if the glass edges are sharp or not....im not going to use my dry gloves to test. They're located at the bottom of the drop off, approximately straight out from the volley ball net.

Re: Latte Diving - NOT!
Was going to dive Les Davis Monday morning but decided not to try, being the water look like chocolate milk. Went out to Fox Island West Wall instead and the vis was typical, ~15ft. Saw some giant nudibranchs at the wall and a lumpsucker where the eel grass used to be.

Great pic of a siphonophore. I've seen them only twice and each time had a heck of a time to get good focus of them floating in open water.

I use PNY SDHC 4Gb in these cameras with no problem and have used the camera's formatting, no problem. You may want to try a different brand of SD card.

Thought this was the biggest Roughback Sculpin I've ever seen...then ID'd it as a Spotfin when I got home. He was pretty content to sit and let me photograph him....as was the Squat Lobster.

Re: Planning Salt Creek Park dive Sat 9/11, information need
Currents can be very strong in the Strait. Timing would be critical with this weekend exchanges. Salt Creek has a very rocky entrance/exit.
