We saw her floating??? there. It didn't take a lot of imagination to guess that management had done a very good PR job about the danger level. At least it brought you an opportunity for some extra business. Guess almost all clouds have a silver(gold) lining, eh? Nope, didn't bring my gear this time....

Diversion Warning!!!

Was down in JNO for the Rotary convention. You folks really treated us NICE. Sunny skies, warm weather for all the days. Even brought a missile cruiser in town for a tour! Now that was interesting.

Now back to your regular programming.

For another input to your decision process: -Find out just what a DM actually does. Several folks I know looked at the DM certificate as a status thingy. They were really disappointed when they discovered that it is anything but. -Do you really want to be a DM, or later, an Instructor? Several peopl...

One more vote for Turtles! I found my old Blades to be excellent fins; until....I went to doubles. Then they just unloaded thrust to fast. So, I spent a lot of time churning and not a lot of time going. Made me real tired. Then I had two very nice folks let me try Turtles. They are a little bit comp...

For what it is worth: The owner of one of our dive shops is really down on the glue on lenses. His criticism ranges from the lenses falling off, to them distorting the mask lense, to being difficult to get in the correct postion for the user, to their being a focal point for gunk, to voiding the mas...

Thanks for the SeaVision link.

My need will be bifocal so a prescription mask seems to be the only satisfactory product.

Now I believe it when Bob says: "The friendliest dive club..."

I like the "Scuba Units". That will come in handy. As a matter of fact I wonder if I can convert the check book to SUs? Sure would help in discussions with the SO.

I was down there last December testing some new gear and getting a quick look at the area. Gear testing went well; at least since it caused me to spend more money it must have, eh?

Had a good time and met some nice people. I'll be back.

Hello

My home is Interior Alaska. I was certified Thanksgiving Weekend 1999 in the blowing snow of Valdez, AK while wearing a wetsuit. My first thought at the shore was: What in the devil am I doing here? This makes No Sense at all. But after that and some trips I was hooked. I envy you folks who only hav...
