Sick rockfish?

Diving at KVI today it looked like most of the yellow rockfish had a whiteish coating on them. They didn't look good.

Anyone aware of rockfish illness at the moment?

Re: Mystery Sharks of Seattle

Hi I haven't gotten the chance to watch the vid yet. It looks real cool though! I asked my co worker who's an avid salmon fisherman if he's seen any dogfish lately. No he has not in about 3 years. :( He's going to ask his buddies if they have. We had a dogfish swim right up to us at 80fsw today at ...

Re: Titan Miss Silo Dive

I just reviewed my logs on this dive when I got home. 1. Dive no. 1, Silo 3 = deepest depth at 104 FFW, 34 minutes of dive time. 2. Dive no. 2, Equipment room = deepest depth at 28 FFW, 9 minutes of dive time. 3. Dive no. 3, Silo. 2 = deepest depth at 105 FFW, 34 minutes of dive time. This was thre...

Re: A whole new world of gear and so many questions! Mostly about BC's...

I recommend a backplate and wing. This can grow with you in the event you grow into different types of diving. Plus they keep you in better trim generally.

If you want a BCD...I have a Zeagle Ranger which you can have super cheap. $100. It is a top of the line BCD but not what I recommend obviously.

I guess I'm still curious about this one. It's a long drive, but a unique dive site from the sound of it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I like doing it this time of year when viz is crappy and on a bad exchange weekend. Head over to Lake Chelan and hit the Sheep Boats and Monument Wall for one d...
