thx Bob, that was pretty much my thoughts as well, but being new, I wanted to ask in case there was some reason I wasn't considering.

I was curious, what is the reason for when diving with a drysuit, to not use the BCD for buoyancy, instead of just the suit?

Seems to me its easier to release air from the bcd, than the suit.

show off. My first dive with the new suit, I was way underweight, so barely got to dive. 2nd dive got called off.

I was looking to do a couple of early am saturday dives at Redondo before meeting up with James and his brother at 3pm.

3pm it is... If anyone wants to do a couple of early am dives (say 8:30am) hit me up. Only requirement I have is that you follow the buddy rules, that being one person leads, the other follows (no running off on your own if you arent the designated leader). Do that, and we wont be diving again.

no, I've just become a total pussy willow about suiting up/off in the cold. I suppose with a MK3 on, I shouldnt worry, but I still dont like the cold air.

8am, is likely to be pretty cold out still.

James and I are planning to hit Redondo Saturday, although maybe later in the day to let things warm up abit.

They do some shop dives at Tacoma Scuba during the week I'm told.

I've already gotten in and out of one, no big deal. Just a few tricks like lining up the legs/boots, and the final over the shoulder tug to get the last zipper closed. Wally suggested the Bullet skin, as they have the least problems with them. He really wont sell anything else, unless someone specif...

My new suit arrives Monday! So the next weekend will be "get wet" weekend.

I saw a big octopus@Redondo last weekend and some other divers told us of a second nearby

Alternative, you are at Safety Stop, have her go up ahead of you, and float up a surface balloon with that message on it.

Or have someone drop the message down to you.
