Re: Alki Octo show.
I prefer them not to be so red. If I understand this colour scheme it implies Stress? That may not be correct, but for some reason I have that memory of my education on this. I've seen GPO's that were red from a distance no stress likely. Which makes me think red may be somewhat normal? Wierd that t...

These amazing creatures are driving me to a very interesting decision to get me first tattoo of an octopus!
Not 100% in On this but strongly leaning towards getting one.

Seeing octopus is my scubagasm in diving
I could spend my whole hour plus dive just watching one move and crawl along the seafloor. So here was my last encounter just happy to share this with the crew here.

Re: Speaking of Keystone
Making sure I’m in line with this.
As we approach the end of the jetty the current will dictate the decisions and the point to turn around.
Then: Getting into the water early on Saturday is no issue as long as we are away from the end of the jetty before 1:00 (13:00)

Re: Ambon Indonesia
Although the red sea was quite clean and nice. The land in Egypt is a giant garbage dump with more rubbish plastic and feces that I could possibly convince you of by writing about it. The pyramids and sphinx are littered with plastic bottles and rubbish inside and out. Cairo is one giant heap of cru...

I’m an SSI assistant instructor. My goal or desire is to be an instructor in time for my retirement as an additional income source. Where I am at there is only an SSI opportunity for certification. However having been diving around the world for years now I have found that the most likely and desira...

Re: Back From Grand Cayman
Okay help me with this, one of my photos is of a tiny see fan looking critter. On the surface it looks like tiny cotton balls on the branches. This was about the size of a dime. I took it with the microscope mode on my camera, if you expand or zoom in this is a crazy looking animal! What is it, tell...

Back From Grand Cayman
I've been blessed with several fantastic trips this year. The one I have just returned from was on the East side of Grand Cayman Island. This is usually the more difficult weather side of the island which means very few divers compared to the much more protected west side. Only two dive companies he...

However the dive gear needed can drain even a decent income at times. Since I dive with the Perdix I cannot bring my...

Returned from Red Sea Diving near Sharm el sheik
Hello fellow divers. I've returned after diving around the red sea for a couple weeks. 7 of the days was aboard the "King Snefro Love" live aboard. The King Snefro team is a very well run operation that does not miss a beat. I would dive with them again and not even bother to shop around. ...
