Re: Best place to buy

Hi! You may want to check out https://www.opticaloceansales.com/ They also have a store in Seattle you can visit! Many discussions have also been had on this board -- do a search. Or just show up at the beach and take a look at what people are diving. There are a lot of camera folks at our ThThTh Th...

Re: today on the hiood

Nice Salt & Pepper and clown nudis!

Good to see more nudis coming out. I've seen three lined and white tips now too!

Dale, did you find another brotula location, that doesn't look like the typical cloud sponge location.

Re: I lost my hood at Redondo

Hello Fellow Divers, I hope you all had a great week! I think I may have left my hood at Redondo on Thursday Night, not sure if anyone has seen in in the parking lot? It's black... I should have put my name on it somehow but never managed to. Hope you have a nice sunny weekend! :) ScubaJess ...

Hi
Five of us from the Thursday Crew invaded Redondo last night. There were tons of octos and stubbies out. Found a lumpie too, at around 75'. Good times!

Re: Notes on Mukilteo

Very cool! I find that many sites people dismiss as "nothing to see" you got to know where to look, go slow, or go at night. Even the geodome can grow on you. It is a bit of an eye sore, but if you go slow, you can find pink mouth hydroids there, among other things, which are always cool t...

Re: Three Tree 2/19

I think our dive was about an hour, maybe a little more. Forgot to mention... we had the most current I've ever felt at Three Tree. And we were even doing the "antler house" side. Not terrible, but it was a bit of a waterfall current, so we kept it no deeper than 75. Viz was great! Not mex...

Three Tree 2/19

Hi
DLH, Bradmond and myself went to TTN last night. It was a good dive with octos, stubbies, gunnels and the like. I didn't see a single nudibranch though :( There were lots of sea stars (false ochres and leathers), but some looked sick :(

Thursday Night Dive

Hi Anybody up for a night dive Thursday? I'm thinking Three Tree Point, because it will be a pretty big ebb going on. Also -- we're in white tipped nudibranch (Janolus fuscus) season, and we had good luck finding them there last year. 6:30pm meet. Folks new to ThThTh welcome. Elliot Bay Brewpub after.

Keystone 6

Hi All I went out and dove Keystone today. There were a ton of people there, with cars several layers deep. It was a ton of fun seeing again several regulars, and meeting some new or lesser seen people, even some lurkers on this board! And thanks for a save-a-dive with a light borrow... and the beer...

Thursday Crew 2/12 Report

Hi! Four of us joined for Thursday crew at the 'dond last night. We did a carousel -> south side run on a super low tide. Good dive, but oddly, the Redondo River started running quite a bit at the end of our dive in the shallows. This was probably at around 8:30 pm much later than I would have thoug...

Hi We had 6 nwdc members show for Thursday Crew last night at Redondo. Good diving! The viz was excellent and the critters were out! Hi!
Who's up for some Thursday night diving this week?
Redondo 6:30 pm meet, beer and food after? It is the beginning of a 10' ebb, so be aware of the Redondo River, but likely we'll be fine.

Hi I went up to keystone again today. The tides were good, and better to take a day off from work now than at the end of December which happened last year -- when I was sick! I ran into Jan, always good catching up, and learning more about the site from him! Here were some of the captures! DSC_6405....
