Yeah, when we do it we put weights in the pumpkin to keep them down. But you need a shockingly large amount of weight to keep them stable enough - I think we put in 5 and were still struggling. Welcome! And congratulations. Sorry the fam has wuss'd out on ya. ;) They might wise up one day when they see all the great fun you're having. You've certainly got the one skill needed -- you go out and ask for what you need! Keep that up and you'll find yourself with a lot of opportunities to learn...
