The Captain requests your help with Dive Around The Clock!
Dive Around The Clock, the annual fundraising event to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital, is going to be held Friday, July 16th through Saturday, July 17th, at Redondo! In 2009 over $22,000.00 was raised by your fellow divers and this year we're hoping for even more! Last year, Northwest Dive Club was named as the group that raised the most money, and that is an honor that we'd like to hold once again for 2010!
Many NWDC members have signed up to participate in this event, yet they need something MORE this time than just their enthusiasm and dive skills....they need SPONSORS! To sponsor a participating diver, please click on their link to the DATC individual fundraising pages that will be listed below this post. Donating through the website is simple, fast and totally secure.
Don't think that you have to "break the bank", either! No amount is too small because it all adds up to a fine way to contribute to those most in need - the children helped by the staff and services of Seattle Children's Hospital, a facility renowned for its fine work.
Northwest Dive Club requests that ALL members participating in DATC post the links to your individual fundraising pages below.
We'd also like to urge all NWDC members to donate whatever you feel you can, and wish to, by sponsoring one or more of your fellow members. Click on any of the links below and follow the simple instructions.
Thanks to all of you!

A little late, but I want to point out that this thread is officially a No Hijack Zone (NHZ). We'll leave Ron's post up because it's funny- but from here out, please respect this thread.

Re: The Captain requests your help with Dive Around The Cloc
I'm so confused. This is the third or fourth seperate thread asking people to post the link to their fundraising page. Is there anyway to combine them?
Anyway, here's my link: http://www.firstgiving.com/georgiaarrow13
Thanks to everyone who dives and who sponsors! It is much appreciated.

Re: The Captain requests your help with Dive Around The Cloc
I'm trying to find a way to donate and make use of my company's donation matching program. But, I can't seem to find any info on DATC as a legit non-profit. Here are the sorts of things I need in order to register DATC as a matching recipient:
Complete and accurate information is necessary for processing your registration.
Tax ID (optional)
Recipient Name
Street Address
Country City
State/Province Zip
Contact First Name (optional) Contact Last Name (optional)
Phone Number (optional) Fax Number (optional)
Email (optional)
Can anyone find this info? (even some or most of the "optional" stuff, which will help the donation process go smoothly)

group:
The DATC itself is not (yet) a 501c3 corp. However!
Is a Washington Charity. So, if you donate thru any Firstgiving site (mine, Valyries, etc), the donation is fed directly to
Seattle Childrens Hospital. They are indeed a legal tax deductible organization.
If one wishes to give to the hospital THRU DATC, make the checkout to Seattle Childrens Hospital and mail it to the DATC
PO Box. http://www.divearoundtheclock.com
If you wish to donate at the event, same thing...all monies recieved will be passed thru to Seattle Childrens tax deductible
account. RECAP: DATC: Not a tax deductible 501 c 3 gig. SEATTLE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL: YES, they are a fully deductible
organization.

I am working on a better video project this year for streaming. Not 24 hours but will stream on the Saturday morning
from aprx 0900 to 1300hrs. This will be so that the kids at the hospital can enjoy an underwater show live and direct.
More info to follow.
Yep! That was a shameless plug!

To those who sent me some love, ! I think instead of donating on my own site, (Which most certainly is NOT a Rick-Roll!! ) I'm going to support my fellow fundraisers! You guys are really doing a great job!
Re: The Captain requests your help with Dive Around The Cloc
Same here. I will be giving $100 of my own money and any amount is greatly appreciated.

Not to sound disrespectful in any way, but is there a reason this is still stickified?
