Aha! Now I know why I was feeling so hungry both before and during diving... my buddy was constantly eating popcorn!
Funny post. Glad we got the chance to hit the water. Thanks for the dive (and the Guinness)!

Come see Keystone next time!
Well, if I thought you were going to be there...
I still would have gone home to bed, but I would have at least thrown a couple of hand guns in to the water, before you got there.
Looking forward to going to the Keystone club dive, in October!

Wasn't there. But I'm sorry I missed you guys! Now Josh, you know exactly what to do with the Pole!
Sorry I didn't make it to this one, had to spend the weekend at the Yellow House... But I'll be at Keystone for sure!!!
On the other hand, I've never seen so many BIG wolf eels as we saw at Sund rock on Sat. at least 8 pairs plus a couple of solo's were in the S. wall area and several GPO's were out and about as well... Glad everyone had a good time and hope we get as nice a day weatherwise in Oct. Oh... And I finally hit dive 50!!!

Just a heads up - the reason you saw so many wolfies and GPO's out in the open is that they are O2 stressed right now. There is a another thread on the board that talks about it.
If you see this and are headed for Sund try and not stress the critters that are out - they simply don't have "breath" to move away from you.

Not a problem since we were aware of the low O2 levels and kept our distance from them... It was simply an observation

I wasn't taking shots at anyone, just mentioning it for those that may not be aware.
My apologies if I came across 'preachy'....
I remember the first low O2 event I witnessed before I knew there was such a thing. I was amazed at all the critters out, and how they did not try and run away from my flashing camera... I had no idea it was because they were not able.
Thanks for telling your story!

No worries... No offense taken... I was just pretty amazed at the size and quantity of the beasties that were out and about... I'm more of a look but don't touch sort anyway.

I'm bummed. After missing the one early last spring, I promised myself that I'd make the next one. Unfortunately, I have had other stuff going on the past few months and haven't even been wet since March. This is my first time back on this site in a few months, and I'm sad to see that I missed a chance to meet everyone. I'll try to make the next one.
