Old Lake Cushman Dam

I have no idea the depth, but has anyone ever done it? (or is too deep?)

In case you dont know what I refer too, there was an original Lake Cushman Dam that's under the lake. You can see it from the air.

Might be interesting diving an old dam. I hope someone chimes in on this thread.

I'd be interested as well but I thought all that land went back to the Skok tribe so would you be able to dive it?

Now that I'm thinking about it, I cant recall it its the old dam, or the old power station they flooded over. But in either case, towards the north it is. Lemme see if google earth can spot it.

I am guessing you are thinking of the old hotel? Diving Lake Cushman has been discussed here before, a search might help answer some of your questions. As I recall, visibility is supposedly pretty bad.

doesnt show on google earth. Looking at history, there was no other dam, so it must have beenthe power house I was thinking of. I know its there, as I've seen it on clear days, and an old time resident of the area told me about it. But I suspect its too deep.

The powerhouse is still there, down by Hood Canal

Nope. I thought I was told it was the old power house. Its way too big for an old lodge that was burned down anyways. Whats there is pretty big.
