Freediving with and riding on White Sharks.

Yes, we've all seen the Mountian Dew commercial entitled "riding on sharks." It seems some freedivers decided to actually do it.

I fancy myself a moderately brave guy and I've certainly come away from my fair share of dangerous situations uninjured, but this is nucking futz.

I did hoever notice that all the Free Divrs had a knive or spear Gun ready
like that would do them any good

cool video though grate job of edting and I realy got in to the music

I am not sure I would grab hole of a Grate White but I sure would like to see one in the open Ocean some day

As Tom Nic pointed out... it's not the 12 footer you're playing with that you need to worry about. It's the hungry 16 foot sister watching you just out of your view.

I woudl do it in a heartbeat so long as no food was in the water. I would probably not grab thier nose though...

I hope to do a cage dive with GW's in the Cape Town area this September if all goes well!

Actually, if it was fairly shallow where you could see the bottom (no sisters hiding in the depths), I'd consider it. If a larger shark showed up though, I'd certainly get out.

I don't really want to know what a nibble from a great white looks like. Do you just loose half of your thigh or since the 'nibble' will probably go through your femur will your whole leg come off?

Mine was asking me about our insurance the other day.. I said hun.. I don't dive with great whites or anything.. She just wanted to make sure she was covered. hmm.
