Merry Christmas Puget Sound divers

Post by Norris »

Changed the subject line to match the content a little better...

Twas the night before Xmas, when all through the sound
Northwest divers were geared up and making their rounds

The Coves, Redondo, or perhaps the T-dock
3 tree, EUP, and sometimes Sund Rock

Their gear is still moist from the dive yesterday
but tanks are refilled and ready for play

Although there are many different flavors of diving
different agencies, gear configs, and some people striving

To be "technical" "team minded" or just to look cool.
we are all somewhat similiar, so dont you be fooled

The tranqulity of SCUBA and the zen of the deep
the wildlife and beauty that we get to see

The octo the nudi, the rockfish and seal
the shrimp and the gunnel, the occasional wolfeel

Even though we are leaking, and havent found that hole
We will still jump on in, even in the snow

As we feel that cold water slowly trickle in,
The fun of the dive, almost always will win.

"Ill get it fixed soon, perhaps in a couple days"
Yet they fill some more tanks and then they will say

"Meh one more cold dive I can certainly do"
as they load all their gear and decide to do two.

We are kinda looney, and unique tis for sure
gearing up in the snow, rain, and wind going "burrr"

we are family of sorts and hold our friends near
we help each other, dive together, and loan out our gear

No matter what training or agency is on your card
No matter what tanks, where you wear them, or CCR

SCUBA is the common denominator we all share
Exploring underwater, while still breathing air

So Ill see you around, at dive sites far and near
Happy Holidays to all, and to all a great year!!!

I love it! And all of it's true, too . . . :)
