Very cool. How deep is the "new" MT6?

Wow -- Dan does such great videos! And the stuff that's being done now, by multiple people, with all the side-scan mapping of the bottom of our waterways, is generating some fascinating data.

They didn't say at what depth this "new" wreck lies -- I wonder if they plan to dive it, or if the ROV in the last scene is what's gathering the photo data?

That area of Elliott Bay is ~120m, so sadly in the 400ft+ range. Only slightly more dive-able than the Dix.

I'm told that its closer to 600 fsw.

Wow, fantastic work guys! I don't know what else to say. This sort of stuff gets me SO excited for wreck diving and exploration!

Exactly. I keep thinking about it, but the negatives outweigh the positives by too much.

All dimensional and photo data has been gathered via ROV,sonar, etc. Any further exploration will be conducted in the same manner.
We (MDS) have no plans to conduct any dive ops on this target.
Thanks for the interest and Stay tuned for further info!
