Sad article in the Times today

Apparently one of the Orca's in puget sound was finned. It's a very odd story.

DUDE! That sucks. Hopefully there is a reasonable explanation rather than someone out there on some wierd Whale Fin rampage. What a strange thing to come across on your daily beach stroll. I guess if there is a bright side, at least they know which whale it came from. Otherwise sometime this summer someone would be going, " hey, I wonder where T086 is......"

Strange, I wonder what would posses someone to cut the fin off a dead whale and throw it back into the water?
