Interesting Book

Post by ArcticDiver »

Just finished a book that some may have already read. It is: "Deep" by James Nestor; Houghton, Mifflin, Harcourt Publishing.

It starts out with Freediving and rapidly moves to a commentary about the world's oceans and our relationship with them.

I found it interesting.

I'll have to check this book out. It sounds interesting from the reviews. However, apparently one person who had been interviewed for the book wrote some negative comments about some of the facts Nestor presents. I am not sure if that is entirely relevant if you are reading the book for your enjoyment.

I forgot to say that I checked the book out from my local library via Overdrive. I figured my taxes had already purchased the electronic copy so why buy it again?
