Puget Sound Hydrographs and Bathymetric data
Puget Sound Hydrographs and Bathymetric data
Where can I find maps? I used to have these cool fishing maps with all sorts of underwater 'topography' information.. No longer have these maps and the reissued versions of them are poor quality and lack enough ink to see legend markings. I've looked through NOAAs website but their maps load funky on my computer, would be nice to have a physical map in-hand

Re: Puget Sound Hydrographs and Bathymetric data
I look over my boating charts, they are pretty good for depth info etc.

West Marine usually has a pretty decent selection of NOAA charts.
You can also order physical copies on NOAAs website or download the PDF and print them at home.

Re: Puget Sound Hydrographs and Bathymetric data
I like the NOAA Bathymetric Data Viewer (http://maps.ngdc.noaa.gov/viewers/bathymetry/), it is a worldwide dataset so you have to zoom into our area. Turn off the Multiline Surveys, turn On the BAG Color Shaded Relief Imagery and the DEM Color Shaded Relief Imagery checkboxes. Areas with high resolution data will be nice and pretty, and the rest will be less detailed but still useful. Pluck out bits with Windows snipping tool and paste them into Word or whatever to annotate them and print out.
