Drysuit Repair

Post by derekcs »

I have an old crushed neoprene drysuit (Teknodiver) that needs a thorough overhaul. Zipper, boots, wrist seals. What's a good shop in the Seattle/Tacoma area to take it to?

For those concerned, I replaced this drysuit with the one I currently use a couple years ago.

Tacoma Scuba, TL-Sea (since Jeff is my dive buddy) would my go to places.

- I got a good squirt in my mouth
- I would imagine that there would be a large amount of involuntary gagging
- I don't know about you but I'm not into swallowing it

Diving unlimited international (aka DUI) repairs other manufacturers suits now as well... they've dramatically expanded the repair section of factory compared to first time I was down there...

I've had a bad year for drysuit zippers. I've had to replace two already this year and a third one is sitting in the garage. I've had the two replaced this year at TLSEA, I will soon send my third one in to the same shop.
