Lost weights at Battleground Lake

Post by thebastidge »

Dropped an integral weight pocket with ten lbs of weights in Battleground Lake last weekend. Going to go back and look for it soon, but ran out of time due to pending "honey-do" list.

Has a 5 lb hard weight, red plastic casing, and a 5 lb soft weight (also red).

Hope you find your weight pocket! I'm curious how the diving in Battleground Lake? Viz? Anything to see?

Viz is poor, especially with any touch of the bottom. I was diving an exercise with Clark County Dive Rescue Team (CCDRT.org) so it's perfect for training.

I didn't realize I had dropped the weight until everybody was packed and I had no time to go back that day.

There is at least one sailboat out there on the bottom past the roped off swim area. There is a distinct thermocline down about 11-12 feet right now because the lake is spring fed.
