Non-divers can see sea creatures tomorrow

If you have friends or family who don't (yet?!) dive, but would still like to see what's down there, have them go to the beach tomorrow. It's the lowest tides of the season and there will be Seattle Aquarium Beach Naturalist on hand.
  • Tomorrow, June 16, at 1:30 pm, the low tide will be -3.3 feet lower than normal
  • Or, on Saturday, July 14, at 12:26 pm, the tide will be -3.5 feet.
Some of the best locations are S. Alki beach (drive to “Beach Dr SW & 63rd Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116”), Seahurst, and Golden Gardens (though at GG it involves some walking to get to them). Have them wear footwear that can get wet. Be on the sand an hour before the low tide, because as the proverb tells us “time and tide wait for no man”.
