Found this little bottle completely intact looks very old lid still crimped on but I think it’s empty?

Does the "body" have a plastic or rubber cover? Looks like the handle of an old screwdriver, or other tool.

Reminds me of the treasure I found while diving with a student at Les Davis. Found it, then handed it to him. I didn't realize the kid held onto it for the rest of the dive until he proudly showed it off to his mom during our SI. She wondered what this beautiful piece of multi colored blown glass was. I suggested the technical term was likely "evidence".

Here you go a big egg cluster. They are each about 2” long.

Squid egg mass. Hundreds of individuals all stick their eggs in a big cluster. You can see them do it after dark on occasion.

Reminds me of a recent conversation with a diver at Edmonds. After my recounting my old story about seeing a salmon shark in the San Juans, he counters, "I saw a hammerhead at Kayak Point." Trying to conceal my disbelief, I made some non-committal response. He follows with, "It must have had a wooden handle, because it was completely gone." Rimshot.
