Crazy Currents This Week

Post by 60south »

I'm looking ahead at some amazingly good currents, especially Thursday 10/8.

But wow... Late in the week it's almost all "ebb" with no "flood". WTH?

wow
=============================================

- I got a good squirt in my mouth
- I would imagine that there would be a large amount of involuntary gagging
- I don't know about you but I'm not into swallowing it

Getting darker earlier kinda sucks!

But on the Peninsula side of the sound, many of the local dive sites have slack times that are 45 minutes to an hour before the predicted slack.

For instance, we are planning a dive at Ft. Flagler today; the Marrowstone Point current prediction (nearest to the site) shows slack at 4:05pm, but we know from experience that it's much earlier. Planned splash is 3pm.
