Yeah, it is creepy - even more so when you see it swim. There is a thread here somewhere where (I think it was Calvin) someone posted video of it.

Yeah, that's wicked. I remember seeing that on the news a while back. Something was wrong with it and it was at the end of its life. I suppose it figured a trip to the surface from 2000 FSW would be a great way to spend its last days! :book:

In the video it kind've died dramatically.. you could tell how weak it was, and when it passed on, it went directly to the surface, as if looking up. Wild.
