A Hopeful Sign?

Post by dwashbur »

We found this nice healthy sunflower star yesterday at Mike's Beach Resort. He was at about 55 feet and looking fine. We only found the one, but I'm hoping it's a sign of things to come and they'll start coming back in the near future.

I've seen a few small (fist sized) sunflower stars at Edmonds over the last couple months. Hope they grow up to be big and strong.

Over the next couple of days we found several small ones that appear to be healthy and on the move. So here's hoping!
