Nudibranch ID

Post by Magoi »

We saw a new (for us) nudi yesterday at Cove 2. I think it is a White-Spotted Dorid (aegires albopuntatus). Can anyone confirm? It was about an inch long. Could not get its head, as it was bent around and I could not get it in view. You can see some white spots around its head.

Great find. You are correct a aegires albopunctatus commonly know as a salt and pepper nudibranch.
