ID Help

Post by Magoi »

Did a dive yesterday at Titlow and found this colorful critter (I think). Have not seen one before. It looks like it is thicker on top than on the bottom. It was about an inch wide, and I estimate about 2-3 inches long. Is it some type of worm?

Nice photo. It looks like it is some kind of coralline growing on barnacle shell, my wild guess.

Thanks Jan. I also thought it might be a coralline, but the frills/folds on the lower edge makes me think it may be a worm.
