Hermaea Olivae Nudibranchs at Alki

I have been seeing tons of tiny Hermaea olivae nudibranchs at alki cove 2 in about 5-15 feet of water! They are amazing little guys. Here are some photos. They are hard to spot at first but once you see one you'll notice that there are ten others on the same piece of seaweed. Any idea as to why just one out of the 50+ I've seen the past few weeks is red? I assume it was eating some red colored algae and drifted in from some other reef?
