Dogfish vs Mud Sharks
I'm pretty sure that "mud shark" is just another name for the spiny dogfish shark.
Checkout this link. It will tell you the names of just about every shark. Though I couldn't find "mud shark"....

dogfish is the much smaller spiny dogfish.
