ID help: Medusafish?

Last night at Redondo, I stumbled across an egg yolk jellyfish and found this little fish swimming in the tentacles. The fish was maybe 2 inches long. The translucence made me think it might be a juvenile. It doesn't really look like a younger version of the
medusafish I found two years ago, but I understand there are multiple species. It was definitely not captured prey, though, and was using the jellyfish as shelter.
Can anyone help ID this?

Certainly looks like something in the cod family but what specifically I'm not sure; hopefully someone else weighs in. Can really young Walleye Pollock look like this?

Greg Jensen said it's a juvenile pollock. I thought the shape looked familiar. Thanks Greg!
