It looks like it could possibly be a British Columbia Aeolid?

Awesome find! I’m guessing based on the hydroid that it was quite small.

I think your right. That’s what an expert mentioned late last night in an email to me. Also called a Catriona columbiana. And it was very small. I’ve probably seen one before, but did not recognize it as something different.

Very nice photos! I tend towards the B.C.Aeolid. Your are so much better shots than I managed in Deception Pass. Good job.
