this reminds me of...
A friend once told me, when a non-diver stops and ask you ."How fast will that pull you in the water?"
You know, you have a big camera rig.

That rig reminds me of my old system. I had a housed 35mm (remember film?) with twin monster Ikelite strobes on long enough arms that I could spread them out to about 5' if I wanted. On land, it was a bear to handle unless I folded it up like the picture above; on the boat it would beat my lap up bad (it was too big for most camera tables) but underwater it was great. Ikelite did a great job of making the housing and strobes very close to neutral so I didn't need the floating arms.
