Nikonos-V

Post by Winter »

I scored this awesome retro nikonos-V but I have never used a film camera, other than one of those disposables, so I was looking for a tip of what to start out with as far as settings go. I have 400 speed film and planning on taking landscape shots in the sanjuans, before I dare go underwater with it at a later date. I think I have half a clue on how settings work but I also know that different cameras dont all take the same photo. So if you used to play with the nikonos 5 back in the day and would be willing to pass on your wisdom, I would be so ever grateful.

Um yea, the V was new to the market when I learned to dive. Now it's RETRO!

Principles of photography haven't changed - If you know how to use a DSLR then the settings on the V will be the same
