Even though you're still encouraged to post your pics elsewhere on the site, like in the Dive Plans & Trip Reports forum, this is a new space dedicated to posting, viewing and enjoying underwater photography (and video) from NWDC members.

Of course, you'll still need to host your images somewhere (I suggest Flickr, but Photobucket is also good), but feel free to post em here, seek advice from other photographers, or just enjoy the underwater images while you're on dry land!

We dove off an old WWII trainer, called the Valiant located near Kirkland in about 110' of water. I learned that my strobes should have been pointing towards the objects, as opposed to slightly angled outwards as I do for macro. Shading and turbidity were pretty bad. Visibility wasn't that great either. On the surface, we had 19-40MPH winds blowing from the south, which probably caused some downwelling.

Please refer to the first post in this thread:
Even though you're still encouraged to post your pics elsewhere on the site, like in the Dive Plans & Trip Reports forum, this is a new space dedicated to posting, viewing and enjoying underwater photography (and video) from NWDC members.

Please continue to post! Just make sure you post in the appropriate thread. This one is dedicated to photos. The trip report area is elsewhere.

Thank you!
